Concrete surface retarder is a paint or spray applied to concrete surfaces

Fields of applications:

Immediately after pouring to roughen them as an alternative to surface hammering. It is used on concrete surfaces needed, for instance, before pouring walls on floors. After application, the surface is washed with water and wire brushing to remove the cement surface, revealing the aggregate. This leaves the surface textured without any mechanical hammering marks. It is also used in making concrete tiles to expose the aggregate for decorative purposes and to prevent slipping.

Dosage:

1 to 2 kilograms per square meter depending on the type of surface.
